Abu Dhabi's urban development is centred on sustainability, and one of the main projects promoting environmentally friendly buildings in the area is Estidama. PQP CERTIFICATION in Abu Dhabi is a unique sustainability framework designed for the social, economic, and environmental circumstances of the United Arab Emirates. This certification guarantees that buildings are planned and built with consideration for environmental impact, water conservation, and energy efficiency. The Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (UPC) launched the Estidama initiative, which translates to "sustainability" in Arabic. It includes the Pearl Rating System (PRS), which rates buildings according to sustainability standards such as materials utilized, indoor environmental quality, water utilization, and energy efficiency.
